Children are always cute, no matter when or where, right? Especially when they have a special touch, as is the case of this three-year-old little girl with cerebral palsy.
Finley is a mini fashionista who loves to post pictures with her mom, Cristina. On Instagram, there are more than 60,000 people following this little girl that touched the whole world with her charm and elegance.
Her mom explained Finley’s condition: “Spastic diplegia, historically known as Little’s Disease, is a form of CP that is a chronic neuromuscular condition of hypertonia and spasticity — manifested as an especially high and constant “tightness” or “stiffness” — in the muscles of the lower extremities of the human body, usually those of the legs, hips and pelvis.”
Cristina’s goal with her blog and Instagram is to make people aware and also to raise funds for the treatment and surgeries that her daughter needs to undergo to prevent the disease from spreading to other parts of her body. “If I can inspire people, I hope it’s just to let them know that they have the power to do whatever they set their mind to do, and that happiness is a state of mind — not a set of circumstances,” her mother said in an interview.
And this is definitely a truly inspiring story.
